எல்லோருக்கும் வணக்கம்…
எனக்கு இந்த மேடை அனுபவம் ரொம்ப நாளாக தேவைப்பட்டது ஆனால் என்னுடைய பயமானது அதை தடுத்தது. இன்றைய நாளையும் விட்டு விட்டால் மீண்டும் அந்த வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்காது. இந்த அரிய வாய்ப்பை பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டு எனக்கு இந்த கல்லூரியில் கிடைத்த அனுபவங்களை ஒரு கதையின் மூலமாக கூற உள்ளேன். தமிழில் உவமை அணி என்று ஒன்று உள்ளது அதாவது ஒரு பொருளுக்கும் மற்றொரு பொருளுக்கும் இடையே உள்ள ஒப்புமையை எடுத்துக் கூறுவது. என் கல்லூரியை பற்றிய ஒரு கதையை அவ்வாறே கூற உள்ளேன்…
கல்லூரி என்பது “சிற்ப கலையின் படைப்பகம்”….
கல்லூரி- சிற்பக் கலையரங்கமாகவும்
ஆசிரியர்-கற்களில் ஒளிந்திருக்கும் அழகை வெளிபுணர்பவராகவும் அதாவது “சிற்பியாக”
மாணவர்கள்-சிற்பமாகும் “கற்கள்”
இந்தக் கல்லூரி என்னும் சிற்பக் கலையரங்கத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் 50 கற்கள் சிலையாக வந்து சேரும், அவ்வாறு ஒவ்வொரு கற்களும் வெவ்வேறு இடங்களில் இருந்து வெவ்வேறு தன்மையை கொண்டு வந்தவை, (அதாவது அவர்களின் படிக்கும் திறனும் அவர்கள் கற்றுக்கொள்ளும் திறனும் பொறுத்தது), ஆனால் அந்த சிற்பியோ அனைத்து கற்களையுமே ஒன்றாக தான் செதுக்குவார். சில கற்கள் தனக்குத் தேவையான அடிகளைக் கொண்டு அழகான சிலையாக உருவாகும் (எந்தவித தோல்வியுமின்றி முதல் வகுப்பில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றவர்கள்), ஆனால் ஒரு சில கற்கள் தனக்கு தேவையான அடிகளை விட அதிகமாகவும் வாங்கும் அவை சிலையாக மாற..(தேர்வில் குறைந்த மதிப்பெண், தேர்வில் தோல்வி பெற்ற மாணவர்கள்) அவ்வப்போது அந்த கற்கள் தங்களால் முழுமையான சிலையாக மாற முடியாது என்று மனதிற்குள் பயம் கொள்ளும், எப்பொழுதும் ஒரு சிலையானது அவற்றின் முழு உருவமும் வடிக்கும் முன்பு அவற்றின் கண்கள் திறக்கப்படுவதில்லை, அந்த சிற்பியோ சிறிதும் தோய்வின்றி கற்களை சிலையாக மாற்ற எண்ணற்ற முயற்சி செய்வர், ஒரு சிலையானது அதற்குத் தேவையான அளவை விட அதிக அடியை வாங்கும் பொழுது அவற்றின் அளவு குறைகிறது அவற்றின் அழுத்தமும் அதிகரிக்கிறது (தோல்வியிலிருந்து வெற்றிக்கு செல்லும் பாதை), அந்த கற்களானது நாம் இவ்வாறு அடிகளை வாங்கியும், நாம் ஒரு சிலையாக மாற முடியவில்லை என்று கவலையுடன் இருந்தது, அவற்றினை இருளும் சூழ்ந்தது (மாணவர்களின் தோல்வியும் அச்சமும்), அப்பொழுது அவ்விடத்தில் இருளும் ஒளியாக அச்சிலையினை சுற்றி ஒரு ஒளி அவை கருவறையினுல் இருப்பதை உணர்த்தியது அவற்றின் பல அடிகளை தாங்கும் தன்மையினால் கருவறையில் உள்ள ஒரு சிலையாக மாற்றியது (மாணவர்களின் பல நாள் தோல்விக்கு பிறகு கிடைத்த வெற்றி)..
ஒரு சிலையின் முன்பக்கம்(கல்வி) மட்டுமே பார்க்கப்படும் நிலையில் ஏன் அவற்றின் பின்பக்கங்கள் (ஒழுக்கம், கடமை, அன்பு)வடிக்கப்படுகின்றன என்பதற்கான அர்த்தம் அவற்றிற்கு புரிய தொடங்கியது. கல்வி மட்டும் இன்றி ஒழுக்கமும், கடமையும் கற்றுத் தரும் இடம் கல்லூரியே.
இந்தப் வெற்றியை யாருக்கு சமர்ப்பிக்கிறேன் என்றால் இங்கு வந்துள்ள அனைவரும் அவரவர்கள் பெயர்களால் மட்டுமே வேறுபட்டுள்ளனர் மற்றபடி அனைவரும் தாய்மை உள்ளம்படைத்தவர்கள் தான் அதனால் இந்த வெற்றியை அனைவருக்கும் சமர்ப்பிக்கிறேன்…
இந்த மேடை வாய்ப்பினை அளித்தமைக்கும், என் வாழ்க்கைப் பாதைக்கு வழிகாட்டிய இக்கல்லூரிக்கு நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன்.

Good afternoon everyone.
I am Aripriya, and it is an honour to stand before you today. I feel incredibly proud and happy to share this moment with all of you.
To tell the truth, after completing my 12th standard, I only wanted to choose a simple course and start serving people in any way I could. It is My parents who chose Nursing for me. At that time, I was not willing to enter this field. But today, I can confidently say that I love my profession, and I am truly proud to be a nurse.
This deep love and respect I have for Nursing today is because of two extraordinary souls—our Principal Madam and Vice-Principal Madam. They taught us that in this profession, skills, service, and honesty matter more than anything else. Their guidance shaped not just my career, but also my character.
Nursing is not an easy profession. Along this journey, I have faced pain, challenges, sorrows, and obstacles. But every time I struggled, it was my teachers who stood by me, encouraged me, and made my path smoother and easier. I owe them immense gratitude.
And lastly, but most importantly, I want to thank my parents, who have been the pillars of my success—especially my father. He is the reason I am standing here today. A man who never hesitated to work hard for my family’s happiness. From him, I learned the true meaning of hard work, and it is because of him that I am here today, holding this achievement.
